Katie Miller
Katie M. Miller, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Florida Atlantic University's Boca Raton campus. She earned her doctorate in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida. Dr. Miller teaches courses on assistive technology, literacy interventions, special education instructional methods, and metacognitive strategies.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Dr. Miller completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Childhood Education (grades 1-6) and Special Education (grades 1-6) at Daemen University in Amherst, NY. She has worked as a special educator in elementary schools across Florida, specifically in Lee and Osceola counties.
